SAT II for UC's?

<p>I've heard that SAT II's have become more of "brownie points," but is it necessary to take them for top UCs (UCLA, UCB, UCSD)?</p>

<p>Help please! I do not know the importance of these tests!</p>

<p>You only really “need” them if you’re majoring in engineering, but you should worry more about your SAT score. A 1740 isn’t gonna cut it for UCLA/UCSB/UCSD.</p>
