Hey guys, I live in India and im gonna have to take the SAT II for some college admissions here. I just finished 10th grade and i am on summer break now. When do you reccomend me to take the Sat 2?
Im specifically taking Math II, Chemistry, and Physics. What are the best prep books for these subjects?
And also, any general tips or knowledge i need to know when preparing for/taking the test?
THANKS ALOT! :)

Well I took the SAT2 when I was in class XII. I did not use any extra books. Infact I did not study anything for that. The 12th NCERT syllabus is more than sufficient for subject tests. But I did take a couple of sample tests. I think they were from Barrons.

For chemistry and physics you should use Barron’s review books they are amazing and have a couple of practice quizzes on the back that will definitely help you ace the test.

As to when you should take it: I think it would be better if you took it as soon as you finished those courses it will be fresh in your mind. And you should give your self enough time that if you don’t get the score you want you can try again before you have to submit the scores. I personally have made the mistake of taking it late.
