Hi
New member here :)
I'm a girl from Sweden thinking about applying to some universities in the US, and I'd like som feedback on some of my thoughts considering SAT II tests.
Currently I'm studying at the swedish equivalent to high school. Before applying to a gymnasium (high school), one makes a choice of which "profile" you'd like to study. Two of them, social studies and natural science are mainly for those who wish to continue study at the university after graduating, and then there are loads of other profiles focusing on more practial subjects, such as construction, childcare etc.
So, I choose the science profile, which means that I mainly study math, chem, phy, bio etc. but do have som classes in social studies, and I've chosen to add a lot of courses in french as well.
Considering my background, I should do best with SAT II in those areas. (I don't want to continue with science studies though, I'm interested in political science.)

So, I took a practice test each in Math I and II today, haven't done any practice what so ever, and got 570 on math I and 610 on math II. Rather poor scores if you look at the percentiles, so is it even worth bothering?

I've got the equvalent to a 4.0 GPA, and did fairly well on SAT I (more or less 85-90th percentile).

Anyone got some thoughts or wise inputs?
Feels like I'm stuck in my own mind.
