How does that work? How would you send the score reports with your application? I'm confused.

Just to expand, I want to apply EA to a school with a Nov. 1st deadline. They allow Oct. SATs as last testing date for EA. Oct SAT scores come out Oct 28. When you send the official score report, doesn't it take like 2.5 weeks? So the college application would arrive before the test score reports.... isn't that bad?

You don’t have to send score report with college app. Score can arrive after app deadline (just identify school as one of the college recipients on application for test). In fact, almost all colleges that have EA or ED and have Nov 1 app deadline, even take Nov SAT IIs for EA or ED.

Moreover, though College Board says it can take a few weeks to send scores, reality is this: if you list college as one of your free sends on your test application and college has electronic delivery of test scores (almost all if not all now do), your test score will actually be put in that school’s download file with CB a day or two before you even learn what it is and it gets to the college whenever it decides to download scores (often once a week).
