i was wondering how much of an influence sat II scores had on admission especially at colleges like
UPENN, JOHNS H, CORNELL, DUKE, YALE, AND HARVARD
when you have as low of scores as
640 mathIIc
600 writing
650 us history
680 math ic

what's your sat I? if it's really strong and you have strong grades in these classes and/or like ap tests or something it probably cancels out....

No offense, but those SAT II scores are pretty pitiful, and it's grandiose to be applying to that list of schools with those scores. You should have studied a little bit harder for those tests (600 writing...ouch).

well i have like a 4.8 gpa and salutatorian, and i'm officers of like 7 clubs. so i figured i might as well give it a shot. my sats were pretty pitiful as well. like a 1310. but i'm taking it agian this january. my question is do those colelges even care about sat IIs though? enough that they would reject you?

all the numbers are low except rank, thats good. i dont know how much of an influence sat ii's have, but they mean more than nothing...

Nevermind the rude people on this board...just retake and goodluck

sadly right now it's either take the SATs or SAT IIs again this jan. and i choose SATs asi think they're more imp
