So I'm prepping for the Latin test in December. I finished Latin III, and I took an AP course over the summer at Harvard (which I just barely passed. It was full of grad students...)

So I have absolutely no idea what the test is going to be like. Collegeboard doesn't help with any explanations, and I've heard all of the review books out there are completely useless. I have the REA book with a CD and two tests, but I don't really know how sufficient it is.

Does anyone know what the curve is like on the Latin test, or have any general advice about it?

EDIT: Sorry, I'm kind of new to this forum, as you can see by my post count. Should this be under the SAT II Subject Test sub-forum?

If you could pass such a high level course in latin, you'll probably destroy the exam. Get the Official SAT Subject Test book and try the latin exam. If you do well, you can just relax; if not, then look to study for it.

Don't go by what people say about review books. Talking about which one is the "best" or something isn't useful; just use them.

do scores in SAT subj test matter?Or all that matters is that i took them?If scores matter what is a fair-good score for subject test?

The sat latin is super easy. It's very similar to the national latin exam. I would review purpose clauses and I would recommend you know all your forms. In the end, make sure you study vocabulary words because grammar is useless without knowing the words. You'll do fine unlike the ap courses there is no analytical essay!!!

Bonam fortunam
