<p>Is there any sort of correlation between the two??
My CR score is just below 700, so I'm thinking that if I take the SAT II Lit, my score won't even be 700. The subject test seems entirely impossible and I really dread taking it, but I have no other options. I've taken a Barron's practice test and got 550 and another practice test from a SAT prep center and got 750...what the hell.</p>

<p>I got 30 points higher on the SAT II Lit than the SAT I CR.
If you've got a natural talent for analyzing literature, you should be fine.
See, the SAT I tests interpretation as well as vocabulary, whereas the SAT II focuses more on interpretation.</p>
<p>Unless you've got two or three other SAT IIs that you're sure you can score higher in, I say take it.</p>
<p>hmm i just hope i'm one of the people who score higher on the SAT II than on SAT I CR..i don't know if that's going to be possible. I already find CR to be difficult, and the literature test seems worse.</p>

<p>they're slightly different tests, but not that much.
literature just seems a bit more high class, not intended for the general public like cr, but just for the literary minded.</p>
<p>My daughter did better on the Sat II Lit than SAT I CR. She took it cold, did not prep, we did not sign up even, she took the SAT II Math and then took the SAT II Lit at the prep center, I still have to pay for the last minute fee. Could have been better if she prepped. Disclaimer, she loves literature and reading.</p>
