<p>Well, Literature is often referred to as a more difficult version of Critical Reading, but this comparison is fairly simplified, as they test different things. If you have a low CR score, a higher Lit score would certainly look better than a lower Lit score, but it really depends on the specific numbers and your goals.</p>
<p>I took both reasoning & lit.</p>
<p>CR = more straightforward, more modern literature, scientific pieces, opinion pieces, comparative pieces, not a lot-but some fiction | vocab-in-context, identify thesis/basic message/purpose/tone</p>
<p>Lit = most of it is pre 1900 material, old english novel excerpts, POETRY | identify meaning of metaphors, similes, etc. & their significance, a few more questions on form (e.g. iambic pentamer)</p>
