are there any eras of poetry or types of poetry that i can read/glance at/analyze in order to raise my Lit score?

Not really. You should just take/study a bunch of practice tests. They're guided practice--freestyle-analyzing poetry probably wouldn't help much (imo).

I'm finding that my study for the Lit test has put me ahead in my shakespeare college course. I was the only person there who knew what blank and fee verse, iambic pentameter, sonnets, etc were

I think practice tests are your best bet!

Personally, I made an 800 on Lit in June with no prep other than taking the AP test in May. Similar styles of questions, I would say, just no essays, and a little more emphasis on literary TERMS like: "iambic" or "pentameter" for poetry or "allusion" or "anthropomorphism" for prose.

It's not that bad :)
