Any insight on the SAT II Lit? I might have to take it as a last-ditch standby effort on Dec 5. Any students that have taken it want to recommend quick last-minute study techniques? Thanks so much!!

I randomly and on the spur of the moment took the test (without studying at all) over taking Math 1 (best decision I made because I was already taking Math 2, I don’t know what I was thinking when I signed up). It wasn’t that bad; it was really similar to the critical reading section except a lot more passages. It was still my lowest score because I didn’t study…at all… but if I had to do it over again, I’d just study it like I’d study the critical reading section.

I took it without studying or ever seeing the test and got a 730. Second time, I read Princeton Review’s prep book and took all their practice tests, and got an 800. I skimmed Barron’s, too, but it seems to just overload you with excess information.

I took it pretty cold and got a 790; however, I’m in AP English right now so I had a little preparation…I’d go over some poetry terms.

This has been really helpful, thank you!
