SAT II Math help please!!!!

So I just got back my first SAT II math score and I got a 730, pretty mad about it given the curve is insane. I took bio first and I think that since I was not well prepared for that it brought down my morale for math. Anyway, excuses aside, what was the best way you guys prepared for this test. I am aiming for an 800 and believe I can do so now that I know how the test feels the time given. I already have the Barron’s book so any other suggestions. Any advice appreciated and thank you. (Taking it in September)

Which Math test are you taking?

@scorpion110 Math II

Make sure you have studied the strategies for doing various types of problems quickly. Set aside a daily study time so it becomes routine. When you feel ready, take some practice tests to get your speed up. Be sure to take some College Board and Barron’s practice tests in the last few weeks before the test. Since speed is so important for this test, take it first if you have to take more than one subject test that day.

Practice is the most important thing! Barron’s + College Board have a ton of problems that appear in analogous formats in the SAT 2’s, so it’s important to practice enough to where you can recognize a couple of similar questions from previous practice tests on the real one. What is the reason you missed points: time or math mistakes?

@aeskimo I got the SAT Math 2 Black Book and it is the key to getting an 800 on the exam. The secrets, strategies, and walk throughs will surely improve your score to the upper 700s and maybe even an 800.

I found this guy useful for Ap. He doesn’t have a lot of SAT II yet but says he will make more.
