SAT II MATH II AND PHYSICS PREPARATION

Hey Guys! I was planning on taking the SAT subject tests for Math II and Physics… I was wondering if any of you guys took these two tests on the same day and how to study for both tests effectively.

I currently take Calculus and I also have the Barron’s Math II prep book… and I want to take the Physics exam because I am in AP Physics 1 and so will have to study for the AP exam any way. The thing is I will only get up to circuits in class and don’t know if I could do well on the SAT exam…

Should I only take Math II? If I do take Math II and Physics, how do I go about studying for these exams?

You realize that if you are taking AP Physics 1 that there are a lot of topics on the subject test that are not covered in the course?

Yeah… that’s why I am really unsure about taking it.

As of now I’ve taken the Bio and Chem SAT subject tests… I took Honors Chemistry and got a 630 as a sophomore… should I retake Chem instead of taking Physics?

Probably. You only need 2 subject tests for most schools; this is not an area where more ≠ better.

Yeah I’ll probably end up bombing it… thanks

Will I be fine with Barron’s for the MATH II SAT II ?

No use Dr. Chungs.
