<p>I’ve heard that while Math IIC isn’t a requirement for UCs, it’s really looked down by admission if someone doesn’t take it. Is this true?</p>
<p>It's not required, but If you plan on majoring in engineering, math, medical, or anything with math, you SHOULD take it. You might be "looked down" but many people have Math IIC because math is important in life.</p>
<p>This will depend on the campus. For UC Davis we consider any two valid scores no matter what your major. By valid we mean the exams you complete meet the UC examination requirement.</p>
