What did you guys think of this test? Best prep book? I'm in Calculus AB with a 99 average. I chose Spark Notes, is it a good one? I kind of need SOME review in some areas, seemed like this one explains the best.

Best prep book was def PR book! thats what I thought! USe Barrons if you want a challenege!

I have Barron's and Its hard!!! I am in Calculus BC (took AB last year) and I got a 30 raw score....ranked: "above average" lol.....

Yea, usually Barrons is more of a challenge! If you do average on the tests, on the real thing u'll likely do really well! But PR is by far the best...very close to what the real thing i like!

how can i get 800 on SAT math, 5 on AP Calc and 660 on math 2c????? i have no freakin idea.

well for me its more liek 740math IIC, and 640 SAT I math...really annoying!

I used Barron's and Sparknotes 5 More Practice Tests for Math IIc and got 800. Barron's is harder and Sparknotes is pretty accurate. I was getting 40+ though on the practice tests on Barron's.

Yea, heard sparknotes was pretty good...didnt use it thou!

Took precal last yr, and calc bc this yr. I took one practice test the night before in a Barron's prep book and made an 800 on Math 2C. The key: know how to use all of the TI-89's functions. It saves time and frustration! TI-89=pocket god

I wouldn't bother doing any long term prep. You should know the material from the classes you've taken at school, just get into the right mindset the night before by reviewing problems.

I disagree with kodiak about not doing longterm prep. I took the math IIC last year and I prepped for at least a month and a half. The first practice test I took, I did horribly on, since I hadn't learned to pace myself yet.

It's also useful to know the trig identities and various other equations. I think the PR book suggests some flashcards that you should make.

Yea I think it helps knwoing the trig identities..and also the insignificant equations in the barroons book that u may think u dotn need could actually prove valuable!
I prepped for about a month b4 the test..!

There's really no point in memorizing trig identities if you don't already know them. Just graph the answer choices on the test with your calculator and compare graphs. There's also the trigexpand option on the TI-89. The best prep for Math 2c is knowing how to use your calc. (I used F2 solve several times)
