SAT II Math Level Two May 2012

How many of you guys think you pulled an 800? I was unsure of a few, but looking through this thread has comforted me a little.

@nelkypie yeah thats right… answer is 6000

@StudiousMaximus - NOT ME! lol i got a lot wrong i think… pretty mad about it… simple mistakes too

do colleges even know how many times you took it and is it even worth canceling if i get somewhere around 700?

should i cancel?
3 confirmed wrong and 2 omit

Don’t cancel, swoony. I think the curve will be 43+ = 800. You should be fine.

idk if i got any others wrong though…

Hey guys i have a couple questions
For the one where Sin C = K was the answer E? idr the exact answer but i remember the letter
Also, for the ones with the millions of years was the answer 10??
Also for the one for students best score, was it also E? it was like 82 to avg 72

@amipat01 i got 8 years
and i got E too for students but people saying its A

wait y do u guys wanna cancel-cant u just take it again? (or is this like the SAT, where more than 2 shots can be an issue for colleges?)

I got E for the Sin C = K problem as well. But for the last exponential problem, I got 18. And the student’s best score was A, because the student scored many more standard deviations above the mean than for his other tests.

yeah i wanna know too why people trying to cancel… cause i know i didn’t get that 800!!!

what was teh -2,5 one??

the sinC=k problem was E. also the pop. problem was 8. you don’t add 10, it’s from 20 million to 200 million not 1 million to 200 million.

amipat, the student’s best score question was A. I’m sure of that.

swoony, if you find more that you got wrong, then maybe consider cancelling. But as of right now, you could be throwing away an 800.

I know I missied 7 so far (5 blank, 2 misses).
That’s on the verge of 790~800.
I don’t know if I made any other mistakes.
-sigh-
Cancelling time.

@Hopefully,
I signed up to take physics, but I didn’t take it, lol.
It was too much for me because I haven’t taken AP Physics yet.
(This school made it so I had to take Physics before AP Physics, and we covered like 40% of the material loosely.)

The two graphs of the sin graph where you had to transform it was c, right? Because it was a phase shift

Can someone explain to me how to the millions of years problem? I was thinking of using A=A0^rt but i didn’t get the right answer?

Wait wait wait. For that average question- didn’t 2 work for x? The median and the mean turned out to be the same (6.5)

@Studious I don’t wanna follow this thread for another 2 hrs :frowning: and no one is posting any new questions.
@Iris oh wow haha my school does the same thing. and i’m a junior :(

@supersaian, people are saying that it was supposed to be an integer.

The two graphs I had A. i thought it was a reflection across y axis

@amipat u can use A=A0^rt
u’ll get like 7.something which rounds to 8
