SAT II math....

How many of u took the SAT 2 Math I today? Mine was a big screw up basically cos I was running short of time...anyway, I left 4 blanks, what would be my most optimistic score? Is it true that depending on when I take the exam, my score will be different too?

I took math 1c, it was realllly bad...i just hope that they have a lenient
scoring curve

1c never has a lenient scoring curve really...

Yes I do know that....but it was more difficult than it usually is....

I took it...I left 5 questions...and I have no idea what the conversion tables are..but the one's in PR say..5 wrong..and a maximum of 4 mistakes get's you an 800.

//Is it true that depending on when I take the exam, my score will be different too?//

Yes,the conversion tables for each test are different. If it was a relatively tougher test, the chances of get an 800 are higher..considering you haven't done so badly.

i skipped 5 on IC ... i also signed up for IIC but didn't stay to take it.. i thought it might be harder.. ;\ guess i should've stayed.. everyone is saying it was easy... anyway... does any1 know what the highest score i can get is? skipping 5 really hurts... :(

IC was pretty damn hard today..i also left a few blank but then i randomly just bubbled in for fun...cause i hate having blanks...if everyone did leave blanks then there prob be a good curve...hopefully

IIc i thought wasn't that hard...but i ran out of time for some reason...(hmm...could be because i didn't even open any prep book!)...i had to leave 6 blank!!!...i hope the ones i answered are correct...but i'm not too optimistic...

What did everyone put for the one that was like:

h/k and it had I, II, and III following it.

What did everyone put for the question that:

Had the graph and was talking about senior citizens watching television. I put 19.

What did everyone put for the vertex of that paralleogram congruent to the other parallelogram? I put -2,4 or something like that.

What did everyone put for the one that looked like a bow tie and had two paralell lines? I said that the triangles were similar.

What did everyone put for the first one that said what can x NOT be? I put -3.

What did everyone put for the last one? I was thinking infinitely many, but I didn't answer that one.

What did everyone put for the vertex question that talked about physics? I put 17.3

What did everyone put for the area of the rectangle on the coordinate grid? I put 40.

What did everyone put for the question that said how many times is the volume of the rectangle larger than the volume of the right cylinder. I put 4.

What did everyone put for the question that involved tangent, and the sin? You had to find what theta was. . I think I put down 7/9 or negative 7/9.

What did everyone put the series question that asked for the integers? I did not understand that at all. I remember putting something that was less than fourty seven. I'm not sure though. That question was annoying.

What did everyone put for the perpendicular bisector question? I just did not understand that. I put when x=0.

Umm what else?

For the weird question that entailed averages I put 86. Did anyone else get that?

What did everyone put for the question about 2/3 of the people who watch tv? i put the youngest group..

Had the graph and was talking about senior citizens watching television. I put 19.I put the same

What did everyone put for the vertex of that paralleogram congruent to the other parallelogram? I put -2,4 or something like that.I put the same

What did everyone put for the one that looked like a bow tie and had two paralell lines? I said that the triangles were similar.I put the same

What did everyone put for the question that involved tangent, and the sin? You had to find what theta was. . I think I put down 7/9 or negative 7/9. *I believe they wanted the degree of the angle.. I put 12.somethin degrees *

What did everyone put for the perpendicular bisector question? I just did not understand that. I put when x=0. I put the same...

What did everyone put for the question that involved tangent, and the sin? You had to find what theta was. . I think I put down 7/9 or negative 7/9. I believe they wanted the degree of the angle.. I put 12.somethin degrees

No we are talking about a different question then. I put 12 degrees for that other sin question too.

I was talking about the question that had the square root of 1-p over just 1-p or somehting like that. and i got .866666 or something for sine. hmm...

What did everyone put for the one that was like:

h/k and it had I, II, and III following it.

I put III.

actually for teh "Had the graph and was talking about senior citizens watching television. I put 19.I put the same" quesetion, they were asking for how many more people would be in the 65 age group if 100 more people were added. although the TOTAL was 19, you had to subtract that from the original amount which was 15, therefore the answer was 4. (i think)

does anyone know how many i can skip and still get an 800? also consider the curve.. would they be more lenient since the test was a bit harder than usual?

"I was talking about the question that had the square root of 1-p over just 1-p or somehting like that. and i got .866666 or something for sine. hmm..."

*I got .6666666 for that one... or 2/3 .. idk if that's right ... *

I think you are right on this. It wasn't 19 then. For some reason I put that there would be 39 old people afterwards and if you subtract 15 you would get 19. It doesn't even make sense. Yepp so the answer is four.

Who knows.

what did everyone put for #48 .. it was a graph of a horizontal parabola ... i knew it wasnt A or B because x was squared... but i ran out of time.. so i just saw b = y2 something** and the others had b** so i picked the one in the middle... i think it was C .. not sure...

arright..i know i ****ed up in he math ic...wat do u guys think is my max score or predictable score....15 missed...5 wrong

ouch arsalan ... if you know you can do better than that.. I recommend cancelling your scores... I'm not good with all that raw score stuff.. bu I'd have to say your max score would be under 600
