I received a 750 on both the US History and Math II sat II's. I know they won't be the highlight of my application, but are they high enough (top colleges) that I don't have to bother retaking them?

Relax, those are both very good scores that I think most people would be proud of. Though on here, you never know. Just my two cents.

Yeah those scores are certainly high enough for any college. Retaking them and getting perfect scores on them is not going to improve your admissions chances any more.

I was told by people presumably in the know, that the magic # is 700. So anything better than that is great.

You should be good to go with those scores, with a couple of exceptions:

1) If you plan to apply to Harvard, Princeton or Georgetown you will need a third SAT II;

2) If you plan to pursue engineering you will probably need a second hard science (Physics, Chem) SAT II.

Good luck to you wherever you apply.

yes sprtn117 is right... at least from my friends mom who is an admissions counselor at a top 10 school. an extra 50 points will not even come close to making or breaking your admission.

750 or + on SAT II are good enough scores.
