**SAT II November Biology Discussion**

blood glucose rises

Condition (I) was that it has hydrogen, carbon and oxygen and (II) was the ratio of hydrogen to oxygen is 2:1
So I figured its carbohydrates. I don’t remember condition III

what other common core questions did u guys have trouble on?

That temperature one was sooo ugh.
Like seriously the level of vagueness of some questions pissed me off so much.

@Anh7609 Yeah I didn’t like the temp one, I think I put didn’t change too though. What about the genetics one, I don’t really remember. Was that the one with the incomplete dominance in flower petal color?

yea it was incomplete dominance and if u cross the f1 generation then u will get red white and pink flowers

wait what… was this on the core section?

what did u get for the experiment about the plants behind the screens. was it photolysis?

@chubii this was the m section

@kjhnbgfvdcrftgyh Yeah that was definitely photolysis in the photosynthesis reactions because that is when the H2O molecule is split to give the electron acceptors energy and to release oxygen. There was another question about that though asking where that took place. I know it takes place on the thylakoid membrane but there was no answer choice with that, just thylakoid space (inner space), so I chose that one

@ColuBound I chose thylakoid space too for that one

I’m thinking 700 on it. I clearly missed quite a few questions that were probably obvious now that I look back on it, and I omitted 1

Sad part was that I finished with 10 minutes to spare and I felt like if I went back that I wouldn’t be able to fix anything because I had answered as much as I knew, so I didn’t go back

yeah… that sucks. D:
I always put a little line next to questions I was unsure about so I can go back and look at it from a (hopefully) different perspective

what other questions were difficult?

I think that summed them all up just about for me at least. Good luck everyone, scores come back the 24th so I’ll be back then

i also took the M section…what do u think of that last experiment abt the restriction enzymes…honestly took ages to understand it

yea i remember the answers to be 3 and 4 for two of the three questions

yeah i remember there was a 3 and a 4 i guess…do u remember that question about apoptosis ?

@Dareen yea i skipped that question…absolutely ridculous
