Sat Ii Nyu

Do international students have to take SAT II Subject test in order to apply/be accepted to NYU?

everyone has to take them...so yes

yes cause i only registered for SAT I and now its to late to register for SAT II. Is there still a chance for me to be accepted?

Maybe they take spring admissions.

Here's the response from the Admissions b/b:

"The requirement of Subject Test scores for applicants to NYU was formally announced last fall (meaning fall 2005)for those students who were juniors in high school and just beginning their college search process. However, since this is a new policy we will be flexible with the receipt of exam results for the 2007 application season. If you are unable to submit Subject Tests results you may still apply for admission.

Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that Subject Test results are one of a number of factors which are considered within an applicant’s academic evaluation. Our Committee will be placing our greatest emphasis on in-classroom ability and will look to standardized testing to be comparable to academic success in the classroom. Admissions decisions are not based solely on individual components of the application, such as a Subject Test exam score."

So, yes, you can still apply but you are probably at a disadvantage for not following the requirements fully.

I hope so although i applied for fall! I hope it wont matter way too much for them, im quite worried.

oh thank you for the information, i hope they will give me a chance, because my essay, grades and refference are quite good.
