I'm planning to take SAT II Physics in May. The SAT testing will be on Saturday, and the AP test will be two days later, on Monday. Will prepping for AP help me do well on SAT II, or do I have to study separately (meaning, are the question types/topics a bit different)?
If you previously took both SAT II and AP, did you take SAT II in June? What books do you recommend? and if you don't mind, what was your score?

bump anyone?

I admit I have not taken either the SAT II Physics or AP Physics (yet), but I plan on taking the AP Physics C in May and have already started looking at the topics tested on the SAT II. If you take Physics C you will have to do outside studying to maximize your score on the SAT II because C only covers EM and mechanics. Physics B covers pretty much everything (except maybe modern physics or something like that?) that you will see on the SAT II, so studying for one test should definitely help you with the other.
I've found that reviews at Amazon.com are always pretty accurate, so you could check it out over there to find good review books.
I hope this helped because nobody else seems to be replying. :-)
