SAT II physics

hey next year i will be taking ap physics 1. i know that physics b was split into physics 1/2. so i will only be learning half the material covered in physics b. will this hurt me for the SAT II physics? i'm really confused and unsure if the SAT II physics will stay the same and cover all topics on physics b. if that is the case, then i'm in trouble because i will only have half the knowledge tested on SAT II physics?

Is it true that SAT II physics material will stay the same? i'm afraid physics 1 will not adequately prepare me for sat physics. help please???

basically… will ap physics 1 cover all the material tested on the SAT II physics exam?

Please stop spamming the boards, test prep questions belong on the designated forums, not here.

No, only a bit over half of it probably assuming it’s just mech

“AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based is the equivalent to a first-semester college course in algebra-based physics. The course covers Newtonian mechanics (including rotational dynamics and angular momentum); work, energy, and power; and mechanical waves and sound. It will also introduce electric circuits.
AP Physics 2: Algebra-Based is the equivalent to a second-semester college course in algebra-based physics. The course covers fluid mechanics; thermodynamics; electricity and magnetism; optics; and atomic and nuclear physics.” (collegeboard website)

tldr AP Physics 1 will cover half of SAT2 Physics.
