I just received my SAT II Physics score yesteraday and I scored 760...I was really expecting more than that...and I am applying to Williams, Dartmouth, and Duke...Does my score hamper my admission decision?

No, it definitely will not. Nor will it help you get in.

750+ are typically regarded as being equal, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

what about 740 vs 750+?

bump 10 char

You should not have to worry about scores under 730.

Actually, lol, you may have to worry about scores under 730, but not anything over it:) fmlfml, no single score can end up determining the fate of your college application. It’s a combination of multiple factors: what you GPA is in that course, how rigorous is your curriculum, how well you did on all your other SATIIs and other standardized tests, and so on. A 740 in physics may be a great score for someone whose passion lies in the humanities, but may be considered weak for another who is trying to get into a highly selective engineering school and whose GPA in that course is already relatively average. It all depends. Just my opinion.

Whoops! I should be banned from CC for making such a mistake!

I was kidding.

thank you everyone…actually, i am an international student…i also took sat II math IIC and got 800…my ACT score is just 29…but, my GPA and recommendations are very impressive…i was just wondering if these scores are good to get into any of the top liberal arts colleges…
