SAT II Requirement?

As I'm sure most of you know, many colleges require 2 or 3 subject tests. Does anyone know if Math I-C and Math II-C count as different subjects? Thanks.

usually not. but check with each school

lots of colleges don't accept Math 1.

like what schools? none that I've seen haven't accepted Math 1 (Penn, Cornell, etc.)

As different subjects? They're both math tests so no.

If you mean will they be counted as two separate tests, then yes.

If a school requires 2 SAT IIs, Ic and IIc would not satisfy the requirement. If you are going into science, engineering or math, I would suggest to take IIc (skip Ic altogether) and take one humanity subject test.

If a school specifies one subject test much be in math and one must be in science, then IC and IIC wouldn't work. If a school just wants two SAT subject tests, then IC and IIC would count as two.

...like the entire UC system. They only consider math IIC scores.

They want SAT tests in 2 subjects (direct quote from Cornell's website). Would you consider Ic and IIc 2 subjects or 1 subject? Most people would take one math/science and one english/history.
