I took the SAT II world history test twice. Once when I was a freshman and again as a sohpomore. The first grade was a 600 and the second was a 580. They're both not great scores, but i'm worried about what colleges will think. I am planning on just pretending i never took the world and taking another 3 SATII's which I'm positive i'll score above a 700/750 in. But i would like a second opinion on everything. thank you.

Yeah as long as your others are definitely 700+, you should be okay. It depends on where you're applying though.

It looks like you didn't read much about world history between those two exams.

that is true. i was kind of a too cocky-confident about my grades. i'll definetly learn from this mistake.

The SAT II score report that colleges receive will include all of your SAT II scores (and SAT I scores, on the same report) from ninth grade and above. What the colleges do with multiple test scores is up to college policy, and the usual college policy is to give each applicant the benefit of his or her best scores.

If your three highest SAT II scores appear on tests other than world history, those scores will have the biggest impact on your application. Good luck in preparing next time; work for deep understanding of each subject and concentrate during the tests.
