I'm looking at Cornell, MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton or Carnegie Mellon but I really don't know how good my subject tests scores are.
Math Level 2: 760
Physics:730

760 on M2 and 730 on Physics aren’t good enough for HYP and MIT, especially.

Ok what scores are good enough

A reply??? Anybody???

Top schools will probably want 800s on SAT IIs, since people usually take them in subject they excel in. Most students applying to those schools will have 800s on their subject tests. Those scores aren’t atrocious though, so if you have something else that really stands out to a school, they may overlook those scores since they are decent enough.

Just to rephrase what @olivia is saying,
Most (if not all) unhooked applicants to HYP will have 800’s (or 780+) on both math II and Physics. This is because both tests have generous curves, which often distributes 800s to the top 8-10% of test takers.

Those are alright for Cornell and Carnegie Mellon, but not so good for anything above that (most people going to top tier colleges get ~800 on those)

You might want to be in the 780-800 range!

Ok thanks this has been a lot of help I’ll focus on the Cornell levels then

Those scores are good, but as others have said you can expect many applicants to have an 800. However, don’t become obsessed with getting a perfect 800.
