SAT II scores at Cornell?

I was just wondering, what would you say is the average SAT Subject Test score at Cornell? I know that they are not everything and the SAT I is way more important, but I was just curious since Cornell is one of my top choices for schools (I am just a sophomore in high school). So yeah, I would appreciate to get some real answers from people who were accepted here (or even those who were rejected, what were your scores?) or went here. Thank you!!

Engineering. 750 Physics. 760 Math 1.

thanks!
does anyone else have any info?..haha

I got 800 World History 780 Bio M 750 Math II. I am an incoming freshman.

Wow yeah… Sounds like I’m going to have to step my game up. I got a 680 in chem just now… Hopefuuly I won’t have to send that though.

It really depends on my major, like I’m applying to engineering or math and I have 800 math II 800 US 780 Chem… I think you should definitely aim for 750+ in any SAT II (because they are supposedly easier than SATs, but I disagree) if you are an unhooked applicant. Or at the minimum 700+ in an unrelated subject. You should strive for 1 math, 1 science, 1 humanities, minus 1 of those if you need though. Some schools have requirements and for any ivy league 750+ is pretty standard, but 700+ is sufficient tbh. Upper 600s isn’t great.
Then again, as long as they are above 700 (or 650 if unrelated) it won’t hurt, but if you are unhooked you should probably try to fix any loose end to your application.

…well my D was “unhooked” , & got accepted into Human Ec with a 590 Math II & a 640 US History. I think the SAT II’s play a very small (if any) part of admission.

There you go. But I would argue that it does depend on the major because I have never seen for instance in the College of Engineering, someone getting below say a 680 on Math II or any of the sciences. But HumanEc probably isn’t as math focused so I guess the scores weren’t a huge deal. Furthermore Cornell views the app holistically so everything counts in the end.

S was accepted into Engineering with Math 2: 770 Biology M: 780 Chemistry: 740
