SAT II scores are not required, though I seem to remember that if you send the SAT I, the SAT II's follow.

Libby once said on that big thread that an admit/deny decision has never hinged upon an SAT/ACT score. If that's the case, it doesn't matter what you score.

I also wouldn't consider a 620 low, but I guess that's another story.

"I just got them back and my bio score is horrible."

No, your glass is half-full: your math scores are excellent. Your bio score is not fabulous - but I don't think it will hurt you, either.

Chicago is serious about looking at the application as a whole. One non-required number that you are not happy with is, honestly, not worth fretting about. Concentrate on the elements that you have control over: essays, midyear grades, and the application itself.

Libby posted on the Uncommon Blog that they don't even see SAT II scores. I don't know exactly what she meant by that but it really seemed like she meant they just don't look at them or even get them.

shrug I sent mine because I just took the SAT IIs, so it was free for me, otherwise I would've had to pay $8.50. UChicago most definitely does not require the SAT II scores though, it says that in the application.

Thanks guys, I just read what Libby posted and I'm a little less worried.

speaking of midyear grades, if I'm applying EA, do I need to send my 1st quarter grades? if not, Can I ? (they're a huge improvement from the end of junior year).
