SAT II Spanish or AP Spanish Test?

Okay, right now I am a senior and I want to pass out of a foreign language requirement in college

I heard that one of my school's requirement is around a 550-600 on the SAT II Test or a 3 on the AP Spanish test

I've been through 4 years of Spanish in high school, but I don't think I learned very much at all due to very weak teachers

Which test would it be more feasable to pass my foreign language requirement?

What book would you reccommend to help me study to pass my requirement?

If you really want to pass, it might be worthwhile to invest in a tutor to help you prepare & why not take both & see whether you qualify under either test? Good luck!

Well the AP one has a "speaking/listening" portion to it, right?

While the SAT II is purely reading and such.

Figure out which one you'd prefer, and concentrate solely on that.

k, it looks like i'll take the SAT II

I did the SAT and pretty easily qualified, yet when a did a practice AP in class last week it was not so great. Good luck!

I'd suggest you double-check requirements for ALL the schools you're planning to apply too--some require the AP & won't give you any credit if you don't take it. I'd say it's safer to take both & see how you do while the material is still fresh in your mind.
