SAT II Subject Test Results---December 2009

Math 2: 800 :)

Tigerlu, is that directed at me? :P

i applied to all the ivy leagues minus columbia, JHU, Vanderbilt, Duke, Stanford, Rice, UCLA and UC Berkeley…

I hope one of them would accept me

@rmadden: hahaa yup yup yup :)

800 on Math 2!

Math: 780
World History: 720

T.T i think i screwed up big time, and im planning to apply to ivies do u guys think i have a chance?

I am applying to:

UVA (In-state)
William and Mary (In-state)
Emory
Oberlin
Vassar
Brown
Upenn
Cornell

Yeah, I have high hopes, but I am hoping one of the ivies will like me. However, Chicago is a great school, so if I don’t get in Dartmouth or possibly Brown, I think I might attend U of C. But yeah, my scores really blow.

750 MathI
800 MathII

I was told that MathI was even more tricky and difficult than MathII, and now I believe it :-<

Should I send both scores or just MathII? Thx.

Neonseri, that is crazy! Good luck with all the apps!

I took both Literature and World History cold. I received:

Literature: 680
World History: 690

Note, I only read 1/3 of my Barron’s world history book and I did not purchase a literature book. Should I be happy with these scores?

@rmadden:
snap for penn. and good luck with the others!
chicago is a REALLY GOOD SCHOOL, you should be happy. i would LOVE to go there.

@looktests:
i would kill for your scores, dont worry. and im applying to some ivies too, so at least you’ll own me :stuck_out_tongue:

@rablinh:
i reckon you should just send math iis, since they are supposedly “harder” and have more topics. but then again, both your scores are pretty high. good luck!

@rmadden15:

i got carried away with the applications. lol. but the thing is, the admission rate to an ivy league is around 5-15 percent depending where you apply. its a gamble im willing to take ^___^

also, good luck with the instate schools that you applied to… i personally dislike the dorms in William&Mary… most of them are in need of a serious renovation.

Math II: 800
Math I: 740
US: 680

Completely messed up the US test, have no idea what they were asking. The Seneca convention quote was also in the Blue Book lol.
Anyways, probably retake Math I or something…

@euclip1993:

your Math I scores, you dont need to retake that… you aced math II so it shouldnt be a worry of yours
your US history scores though, you might want to retake that. if you are applying to an ivy league school, you might want to get mid-high 700s. where did you apply? and what is your prospective major

Tigerlu, thanks man. I really need to go out and actually VISIT U of C before I make anything for sure, but yeah, I am happy about that one.

Neonseri, yeah, it sounds like it. Conversely, I get you, hence why I am applying to 4 ivies. Our school has a reasonable track of kids who have ugly SAT scores getting into ivies. Straaaaaaannge. :stuck_out_tongue: :D

Oh, and about the dorm thing…I KNOW! They were pretty awful when I visited last year. Vom on my sweater.

750 for bioM
760 for Chem
610 for french(didn’t study, i was actually surprised that my score was this high:P)

@jjavdm:

good job on the bioM O____O jealous

rmadden15:

what part of VA r u from?

rablinh, euclip1993:
Taking two Math tests was a stupid thing to do. Your colleges are only going to look at Math II no matter what you received in Math I.

770 Literature
570 US History

:-( Wow, I didn’t expect to do so badly on history. If I’m applying to ivies, should I try to take something else before decisions are made? I sent my scores already (dumb. haha) because I only took two tests, so I don’t want to waste money if they won’t get the other score in time/won’t care…

blackcat813:
Most colleges accept January SAT scores.
