jfk had a naval blockade in response to the cuban missile crisis
i’m pretty sure it was gulf of tonkin resolution

he sent in cuban exiles to overtake Cuba. it failed miserably when the exiles were wiped out.

^But was the Bay of Pigs Invasion in response to the Missile Crisis?

The transportation revolution one was the building of canals, roads, ___. It was the one with 3, I can’t remember what those 3 were though.

gulf of tolkin was not a mandate, but simply gave the president the power to do it if he so wished,

Oh, nvm xxr92 u’re right.

What question are you talking about withallmyhearttx?

I omitted 2. How many can I get wrong for an 800?

_xxr92, for the Spain question I put “dominance in Europe…” My reasoning was that how can colonial ventures affect Spain in Europe?

For JFK it was quarantine. Bay of Pigs came BEFORE Cuban Missie Crisis.

I also said Golf of Tonkin, but it was a “blank check” not really a mandate for war. But it was the only one that made sense.

like 20? idk once it hits 59 or smting, ur in the 600s

EDIT: oh w8, your asking about 800s…idk…i know that I would be content with anything above a 700, lawl

well i’ll be happy with 750+ but i want to know how much i can get wrong for an 800…

how many wrong for 750 if 2 are omitted?

squelchy451, with 2 blank you can get about 7-8 more wrong and still get an 800. (According to the Official SAT II Study Guide thing).

^really??/

nice, i know i did not miss more than 10, i think…so i think im good?

you usually need a raw score of about 68-69 for a 700, which includes deductions for incorrect answers and etc

does anybody remember the question about the reason the US isolated itself from britain? or something like that. geographic distance was one of the answer choices…

withallmyheart, i said the geographical distance … though there was somethign else to that answer which made it clearly the right choice out of all the others

^ yea i put that

and 68-69?..there goes my 700…

i skipped 4-5, i think and got like 4 or 5…or more…wrong

was the monroe doctrine a declaration of principles or an executive order? i put the former.

for the spain one i put manufacturing

–The LBJ question on the great society was the exclusion of african americans. He did have social security reforms.
–The question regarding the cuban missile crisis was the quarantine of the surrounding area. If im not mistaken the bay of pigs occurred before they found the missiles.

someone please answer my q: monroe doctrine was an executive order or declaration or principles? i put declaration bc an executive order seems too strong…

I believe you are wrong. The New Deal dealt with Social Security. And the Great Society did deal with African Americans - Civil Rights Act of 1964.

dgor, I said declaration.

It was definitely not an executive order. Not sure of the answer though. Some people say it was the unilateral thing.
