SAT II U.S. History

I have a quick question about whether I should take this SAT II.

I took APUSH last year (and got a 5), but didn't take the SAT IIs because I was too late to register. Is it a good idea to start studying now, and take it in June? Or would I retention be too low for me to even get above a 600?

5 on the apush exam and your worried about getting over a 600???

I just took a practice test and got a 740… and I learned almost everything from my Barron’s flashcards last night

Yeah I am worried , as ironic as it is haha. After all, it’s been a year, and I’m worried I might forget everything, and therefore, take too long for me to review everything again.

hmmm. I would recommend picking up an official practice test

Hm… do you have any idea where I can get one of those?

and btw, do you suppose using sparknotes as review would be a sufficient, or would I need something w/ more meat?

I just took the AP US History exam early today and I’m going to be taking the SAT II in June as well. I think that if you just buy and skim through the World History/US History book from College Board that it would be fine. It should come back to you.

borders? 10char

If you got a 5 on the AP exam for APUSH, you’ll be fine for the SAT II test. It’s easier. I got a 4 on APUSH, and then a 740 on the SAT II for USH. Some of the questions are such a joke!

For review/practice tests, I used the Kaplan series for both the AP book and the SAT II book, and I thought the practice tests were good in there. I was getting 700+ on them, which is around what I got on the real one, so I think they’re pretty accurate.
