How hard is this test compared to the other ones. How many questions are there. sparknotes says there are about 90-95? how many wrong for 800. if you got a high score, do you think just reading sparknotes is prep enough? how realistic are the sparknotes tests?
thanks

90 questions, 6-8 wrong for 800.

I got a 790 after taking AP US Hisotry (which is the BEST prep) and then reviewing for about two weeks by reading the Sparknotes review book cover to cover. I thought the Sparknotes Tests were VERY good, maybe even a little harder because I got a 730 on the first, 760 on the second, and I didn't take the third. Seriously though take AP, because the SAT II is similar to the AP, and just take practice tests, you'll do fine. Good Luck!

thanks for your help.

I scored much higher on the SAT II than I did on the Sparknotes test. Some of the Sparknotes questions are extremely vague in what they are asking, so if you do pretty well on those, based on my experience, you should do fairly well on the regular SAT II.

I second taking APUSH. I took it and read PR the day before the SAT. The AP prep really helped me since I knew most of the material and even knew some of the detailed stuff. In the end I got a 790, so you could say APUSH helped me really a lot.

can anyone recommend a certain book for APUS and/or the SAT II?

i used REA to review....i also used the sparknotes 5 more tests book, and they were pretty good.
