SAT II United States History

Ugg...will someone invited me to this chat?!

invite urself. put in chat number: (name of chat)

But I don't even know where this chatroom is...

What was the one about the greatest Soviet military strength? I put army since I know from class that the Russians had something like 13 million troops but I was also contemplating the one about advanced technology.

lol i put advanced technology lol.

Lols, I don't mean to bother ppl, but is it an aim chat?

does anybody know how the curve usually stacks up? like how many you can miss to get what?

i ommitted 2, and i know i missed at least 3. dang it.

gradeinflation, i put wilson and i think it was blacks but that's just cuz i remember he wasn't very helpful toward civil rights

okay i think i got these both wrong

hudson river school apparently is landscape painters? i put abstract whatever

and the supreme court ruled that segregation violated the fourteen amendment? i said fifteenth

i already have like five wrong :(

and also about that thing about the women's christian temperance union and how it was similar to other women's reform groups

... i have no idea what the answer was.

hudson river school apparently is landscape painters?

I only got this right b/c of a practice test on the AP Kaplan book which asked a similar question which I got wrong.

For having just 4 days to cram for this test and an AP instead of a SAT II book to study, I think I did well, hopefully, from what ppl on this thread have been saying.

for women's temperance union similar to other women's movement i put the answer that said something about getting women to feel responsible to change the country for the better (or something along those lines)

hudson river was def landscape. i kinda remembered that from global history and then i realized it was on the hudson so it was prolly landscaping.

and yes, it was definitely the 14th cause the 15th was the right to vote while the 14th delt with equal rights.

i also put wilson and integration cause i thought that 1910ish would be too early for any type of desegregation.

Does anyone remember the answer to the one that was like: Most of these rural types were sent to private school/private tutor, very little public education...80% of white males were literate

The choices were:
1850 North
1850 South
1880 West
1900 South
1900 North

I chose 1900 South...I dunno why I just had a feeling...

i put 1850 south cause in 1900 i think the government started to do more education stuff in the south since the divisions were much less.

also there was a question about stocks and i put securities exchange comission (i'm almost positive that was right)

^I also had that

I put 1850 south?
i dont know

For the above question, I narrowed it down to 1880 West and 1850 South.. guessed 1850 south.

for some reason i didn't think 1850 south was 80% literate unless i read that wrong

Yeah, I think it was 1850...wasn't it illiterate?

yeah i was thinking about that, if i read the question wrong. but i thought it said 'only 80% literate'. but i wouldn't doubt that i read the question the wrong ha great.
