SAT II: US History?

I decided to take Biology E/M, Maths IIC and US History but the problem is I do not know how to prepare for the SAT II US History test.

I have The Princeton Review- Cracking the AP US History book in order to review more information but I'm afraid that this book might review more information than I need for the SAT II test. So I would like to ask if someone has any experience with this book and.... would you rather use the SAT book or the AP book. Which one gives more useful information for the SAT test?

thank you =]

I recently purchased the SAT II US History Kaplan book, and it has seemed to be very good so far. Most kids I talked to in my school said that was the best, but many of them advised me not to take it. Some of the smartest kids in my school barely got 650's on it and they thought they had aced it. Anyways, Kaplan seems to be the best one when it comes to US History and I have the Princeton one as well for AP US History, but that is way too general and won't help you as much on the SAT II. Plus, Kaplan has 4 practice tests to help you out as well. Hope that helped!

the kids from my school who took the APUSH course, took the SATII and got mostly 780 -800's...

They advised reading the AP Amsco book since it prepares you for the SATII as well

you should also use the College Board Subject Test prep book for USH for the practice tests. These tests are actual previously administered SAT US H exams and should be very useful in gauging your score

AMSCO book for both AP and SAT II US.
