Can we start making a complete list of questions and answers?

Cramming until 3 in the morning did help lolol just hoping for 700+

@pentupenguin you’d want to do that after 12

Can you get an 800 if you leave 10 blank and miss a few?

Yes definetly, @reggie

Is the curve really that good?
I left 2 blank and I know for sure I got at least 3 wrong. But I’m sure I probably got around 6-8 wrong in actuality.
I’m hoping for a 780-800. ¿Es posible?

=) and at least its over guys! Yay summer!

left 8 blank and I know i got at least 2 wrong already… the last question was religious and ethnic conflict (Yugoslavia) there were a lot of weird questions like immigration, Buddhism in Han China, most prosperous people in developing nations today etc etc etc.

Overall I think it went very well there were some really easy giveaways as well

What did you guys say for the picture of the breaking bridge?

cultural and religious messages cuz it had gandhi and nehru and hindu gods

I have another question. I’m a sophomore. If I do bad on this test but I take 2 other tests next year (probably Math II and Chem) and do really really well on those, can I send those 2 test scores and not my World History score?

Or are you required to send every SAT II score? thanks

@Reg
Yes. Certain colleges (most of the Ives) can see all of them. However most colleges only look at the ones you send. Thanks to score selection you can chose which tests you would prefer to send to colleges.

Well since I am planning to go to Ivies, should I just go ahead and cancel my score? I mean, I know I’ll be able to do better in Math and Chem and I don’t want to take a chance with World and possibly get below a 750

blahblhblahlablalhlablahlahlb

Wow this exam was pretty difficult. They asked so many questions about the classical/post-classical eras and barely any on the premodern/modern…I’m praying for a 700.

was the great cities the one about finding luxury goods and gold from East Africa? I think those were the answers…

jman, that was a different quote. This quote talked about india.

Honestly It depends. World curve is supposed to be really good. Looking at the book my teacher made us a minimum raw score for an 800 was an 80.
Factor in (number you think you got right)-(number wrong * .25)=
So for me as a guess, I did (87)-(6*.25)= (87)-(1.5)= 85.5

However this is just an example curve. Could be lower or higher.
You state you skipped 15, if you (just theoretically) then got 3 wrong that would give you a 76 which = 770
which is great! Its all about playing with the scores and trying to see if its worth it.

On one practice exam I took, you could miss 17 and get an 800. Since this one was clearly harder, I wonder if there’s a better curve. I’m still debating whether to cancel since I’m screwed if I do badly…

I feel like the curve is so good you might as well see what you get. Even if you only get a 700 but do well on Chem and Math it won’t hurt you. It just shows you’re good at World but math and science are your strengths.

i took a practice test and i missed 20, leaving me with a 75/95 but that equated to a 750.
On today’s exam I skipped 2 and answered the rest…I wonder what I’ll get
