SAT II World History - June 4th

^ Thats what I put but I really had no idea. I figured all of the kids playing and stuff was suppossed to symbolize the perfect Soviet society. It was also the only one that I thought made any real sense too but I dont know.

@whatdoyouthink, I was thinking the same exact thing. I’m pretty sure it said AFTER. But I don’t know, this exam was crazy.

I also put the Mau Mau Rebellion as an answer.

^ That was my reasoning, too lol. How about the Hindu one, with Ghandi and Mehru in a cage?

Cultural and religious to show something. I don’t remember what it is trying to show though.

I put they wanted to discourage people from following the independence movement, because it showed a line of people falling into a cage that Ghandi fell into.

I didn’t study, but the only far out question that I didn’t know was #5, something about 2 types of buddhisim and how they differed. Overall, Age of Empires helped out a lot.

^But it then said something about this is the only way to peace or something that implied that they were already ready to pay that price.

SO what did you say gardy?

The cultural and religious one because like so many other questions nothing else made sense.

That’s what I said. I thought the test was pretty hard though so we’ll see.

What was the one about first cities? I said Indus bc of mohenjo daro and harappa.

You mean first civilization right? I think I said A, which was tigris and euphrates I think?

I thought A, too, because Sargon had the 1st Empire and that that was in Mesopotamia.

BTW it was NOT Mau Mau…Barron’s AP World says Mau Mau deviated from Kenyatta’s original intent of a non-violent resistance.

So it was originally influenced by non-violence, but had some violence…

I think.

Nah I’m pretty sure it said first cities…

If it didn’t that was a &$@*%# mistake.

Either way, with the curve I expect 750+ (well hopefully)…I self studied.

Wasn’t catal huyuk the first city to be built, which makes the answer A?

Do you guys know anything about the map about the Mexican trade with Asia?

Yes, the answer was the one about the Tigris-Euphrates.

Guys I thought this was really easy, I got a 5 on AP World last year and finished this test in 35 mins. Feel free to ask me specific questions because I almost definitely got 800.

Conceited much?

The one about trade from Mexico to Philippines was for Chinese ****. They were both Spanish colonies so that was easy.

@esmee it was silver and then for china for silk and porcelain.

@joshmay,

Did you say etruscans for influencing roman?
similarity between colonial spain and british?
vice royality of new spain or whatever?
the thing that karl marx was innovative about in terms of socialism?
