SAT II World History or Chem.?

hey i'm a soph. and considering taking either the SAT II World History or SAT II Chem. this spring...I'm currently enrolled in honors courses in both subjects but I know i'll have to also self-study for them. I was j/w which is easier in general and which is easier to self study for based on ur guys' experiences?

Take the World history and Chem. Or take World history this year for sure and then next year if u take AP chem then take SATII Chem. Because the SATII chem will be a piece of cake if u take AP

i took the sat ii chem and it sucked because i had to study so hard because it was almost all new to me.

Also it depends on what you are planning to major in. if you are planning to study biochemistry, then it would probably be a good idea to take the chemistry test.

It depends on your strengths... but I would say World History would be easier. Chemistry is one of the harder SAT IIs, and most honors chem classes cover around half the stuff you need to know, if that.

I agree with cd, some colleges that focus on science/engineering like Caltech even require you to take biology, physics or biology as your third SAT II exam.

yea...i'm planning on majoring premed...and i know for some 6 year accelerated premed programs they require the chem SAT II. But when i was doing the practice tests for the World History I only missed one or two questions versus the chem. I barely understood any even though we're almost halfway through the year...I'm planning on taking AP Bio next year but I guess I could just take AP Chem instead and Bio senior year

the world history test was hard as hell

i just took it saturday=disaster.
