SAT II World History prep books ?

Have already looked through the forum but am looking for additional opinions. Am stumped.

Barrons or Kaplan ? Already have Princeton. Any feedback from someone who recently took the test and used a prep book?

many thanks.

Barron’s is really good, I used that and got an 800(though I already loved and knew a ton about world history). It’s really comprehensive so it’ll take more time to study but if you have that time it’ll be worth it. The practice tests are harder than the real test, though one of the practice tests had an incorrect answer to a question. Despite that, get Barron’s.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I’ll get the Barron’s.

Personally, I didn’t use prep books. Instead I used free practice tests for AP World History and the SAT subject test online, then supplemented it with reading up on topics that I appeared to be weak at. I got a 770.

I don’t think Sparknotes has a test yet, but there here are some ok ones I found:

Obviously, having your Barron’s book is good, but I don’t think the extra practice would hurt if you’re gunning for an 800. Good luck!
