If I self study world history AP and do well in AP test, should I be confident about SAT II world history?

that’s what im doing this year, but im taking the AP in school and not self-studying, so i dont know how u’ll be

I’d like to take a class then take the test. but my school doesn’t have ap world class. we have have honor world history. I’m also trying to find a good book to prep for ap world history and SAT subject world history. any suggestions?

Get the Barron’s AP Book and SAT II Book and the Princeton Review SAT II Book. The Barron’s book will prepare you for the test, I speak from experience. On the subject test, if you have a good memory from the AP stuff, you’ll do fine (750+)

I would say so. For me: 10th grade “5” –> 12th grade “800” (without buying study books).

personally, i have barrons and princeton AP world books since its in May, and studying for the AP should be good enough for the sat II if im not mistaken, so i just bought the collegeboard official us and world history book.

is this a good strategy?

I can’t really speak on the effectiveness of study books, as I didn’t use any for the AP or SATII (though I did take the official practice test for the SAT II). If you have a good textbook and a good teacher and learn all the material, you’ll be fine.
