Hi guys,
So I scored a 5 on AP World exam, but got a 720 on SAT II World History…
Should I retake it or is it good enough for colleges like Tufts, Brown, and Swarthmore?
I got a 680, which is really disappointing because I thought that I scored so much higher. I told myself that I wouldn’t retake this test at all, but that is way too low.
I had a 640… I don’t understand it… How… :((
Got a 760…not sure whether to be happy or sad. Leaning more towards happy.
@IvyHopeful5 That’s an awesome score!!! Congrats
780! That’s good enough for me. I’m quite happy with that score.
Thanks @aegis400! I’m not an expert but i think a 720 would be good for the schools you listed. From what I’ve read about the subject tests, a 700+ is good while a 750+ is great for selective schools
@IvyHopeful5 Just remember that selective schools usually don’t rank subject tests as highly as they rank SAT/ACTs. A good subject test score is just an add-on to what should already be a great SAT/ACT score so if you have a really good SAT, you can afford to have a subject test score that’s not amazing.
After getting a 5 on the AP, I hate that I got a 660. What should I do about that?
@univbound101 The AP and SAT subject tests aren’t always the same. Just because you do well on one doesn’t mean you’ll do well on another. I’d suggest retaking it if you’re not satisfied and get a prep book that focuses on the subject test, not the AP exam.
I got a 750, which I am okay with because I self studied World History, but I thought I did better and I only got 87th percentile. Not really happy or sad.
740, a little upset
