This is probably a very silly (not to mention outdated) question,but here goes anyway.
I just recently saw that when you click of "Send scores to Colleges" in "My Organizer' on collegboard, two subscores come up underneath the overall score for the SAT II Writing.
The essay doesn't seem to be on a 2-12 scale as it is for the New SAT essay. Is it on a 20-80 scale instead or what? I was trying to figure out what the score on my essay was for that test, when I realized I had no idea what the subscore meant. Can someone help me?

For the old SAT II Writing, there was a conversion scale:
raw score = subscore
12 = 80
11=76
10=72
9=67
8=61
7=55
6=50
5=45
4=41
3=37
2=32

The numbers may have changed slightly from test to test, but that's a pretty good guide.

wow... I've been looking for that everywhere!
thanks!
