I am a currently a Junior, but I feel like it is never too early to prepare for SAT II. I wish to be a Political Science/International Relations major. I did well enough on SAT I (2220). So which SAT II should I take? I am torn between Math I and Math II since I am not a big fan of math. Should I also take Korean since I am an amateur translator? I took Spanish in high school (not very good), but I plan on listing Korean as my second language. Help me!!

I would take the math 2 subject test because its more scaled, and the test also demonstrates skills from the math 1 subject test. The math 2 subject test is also more complex than math 1. I would take a Korean and Spanish subject test and see how you do on them. Even though you say your not so good at Spanish, the Spanish subject test is heavily scaled. Also, you should buy the big blue book full of all the different subject tests. When I took a couple of subject tests in June, the practice tests from books like Princeton and Barrons were way different from the actual test. The actual test was most similar to the test in the Collegeboard book.

Thank you so much. I am seriously not looking forward to all these testing…

Oh, we have similar situations. I’m a junior, got 2000 on SAT1, and i dont like math as well. So, i will take math 1 and bio in this June. If u can handle math 2, then take it cuz it will look good.

I’d take math 2 and korea sat subject test. Take spanish if you feel like it
