Sat Ii

I know UVa "strongly recommends" submitting SAT II test scores, but what if you don't take them? Will it really hurt your chances?

"strongly recommends" should be the indication. It's a step below mandatory, so this just means that they want to see it, but they won't require it because technically they arnt common entrance tests. Will it auto-reject you? No. But if you don't submit the scores, and they're trying to decide between you and someone else who does have the test scores, they'll probably pick the other person, even if they only have 500s. Especially if youre OOS.
My advice? Take them.

Anybody know of a place that lists average scores of SAT2's of people accepted to UVA?

I think there isn't and seriously why do you need them? they are very different from SAT reasoning test.

You will be fine if you scored 700+, imo. I think this is just to qualify that you're strong in some academic fields.

i think partly for placement too
