I am applying to Wesleyan University as my number one... will these low scores prevent me from admission? (MathII, BIO(M), UShistory)

My ACT is alright… 30, and UW gpa is 3.92 with 8 ap classes but …

yes, your GPA is good. your ACT, while below Wesleyan’s median, is okay. your SAT II’s aren’t ideal, but remember, Wesleyan takes a holistic approach to admission. Do they view you as someone who can contribute to the community? Only looking at your application as a whole can determine that. Will your SAT II scores boost you? No. Will they hurt? It’s possible.

People with lower scores have gotten in. People with higher scores have been rejected. No score (no matter how high or low) will determine whether you get in. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. It shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

thank you!

Loll, I have similar scores, though for my SAT I (640/630/560, 28 ACT), and I’m applying to Wes. =) I’m really hoping that my other stats make up for my scores. =/

what other stats do you have?
