SAT II's and Chances

<p>I know SAT II's aren't required at Chicago, but if I took them for anothe school, can I submit them? Also, is the Writing Section of the SAT considered? Also, what would my chances be if I applied EA?</p>

<p>The writing section is not considered, and submitting SAT II scores can only help. Your stats look fine. As with many people, your essay will be the determining factor.</p>

<p>Since you didn't do the ACT, you are submitting those SAT IIs whether you want to or not. I remember the Admissions Dean Ted O'Neill said at one of the open houses that when SAT IIs are submitted, they don't really consider, but they do look at them, so he said in a small way a bad scores can hurt, and good scores can help. In your case, they will definitely help, and I only see you being rejected if you write horrible essays.</p>

<p>man... you've got great stats... i would focus on the essays and you should be all set... i dont think you even need to mention the 710...</p>

<p>Yeah, unless I retake and hit 750, I won't sent it. Oh, and btw, I'm from Perry Hall High School in Baltimore County.</p>

<p>If you are retaking, you get to send to 4 schools for free, so definitely send it then. 710 is a good score, it's just not worth the extra dough to send it just for it's own sake.</p>
