SAT IIs And Cornell

Hey all,

Does Cornell only consider your top 2 SAT subject Tests?

Last year I took World History (770) and Chemistry (680) and this year I took US History (750) and Math Level 2 (710).

I plan on applying ED to ILR and i remember reading somewhere that a math SAT test score was required. Will that poor score of 710 affect me in anyway or will the admissions office only consider both world and us history?

thanks for the insight

…a 710 isn’t “poor”…my D got into Human Ec with a 590 SAT-II math score.

I say poor because I got a 780/800 on the two practice tests I took. CC has really skewed my mind.

But can anyone answer the question whether they will look at the two best or look at the best one and the math one?

sorry for the double post…

What looks better to Cornell, 33 ACT or 2180/1470 w/ those subject test scores? Should I bother sending both?

thanks

If I’m not mistaken you can only send in one. If I were you, I’d send in the SAT since I think it’s a little better than the 33 ACT score. I could be wrong though.

As for the 710 Math II score, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. That’s pretty good and somewhat competitive.

^ I sent in both the ACT and SAT, so I’m pretty sure it’s possible (unless one never went through… lol).

I think your scores are fine, by the way.

Well, one that they recognize/want. Then again I could be wrong on this.
