SAT II's and MIT

I want to just make sure this is right:

For the SAT II requirements you need a math, a science, and one of your choosing. If I took Math IIC, Biology M (800's on both) and then I chose to take Math IC as the "one of my choosing" does that fulfill the requirements?

Even if it technically fulfills the requirement, it certainly is not in the spirit of the thing. Math IC on top of IIC will tell them absolutely nothing. Unless you will be applying with a broader range of AP scores, I think you should suck it up and take a different subject for the 3rd SAT II. You probably would not be able to get away with the trio you are proposing at every college you will apply to anyway.

yeah, i'd recommend something from the language/social sciences/history category. sat IIs aren't that hard of exams, anyway.

A lot of schools require the writing. You may or may not be applying elsewhere, but think about it. As has been said, the SAT IIs are pretty easy - they're basically really dumbed-down versions of the AP exams.

A lot of schools require the writing. You may or may not be applying elsewhere, but think about it. As has been said, the SAT IIs are pretty easy - they're basically really dumbed-down versions of the AP exams. Plus ... Math IC is just a subset of the IIC, right? Or at least the "predecessor math" (too tired to come up with decent vocab here)? It'd be redundant to take both.

the writing SAT II is no more. College Board discontinued it this spring with the inaugauration of the writing section on the SAT I. Schools that required it for the class starting in 2005 will not require it for the class starting in 2006.
