SAT IIs are from hell.

True story.

Frikin' physics /mumbles

The curves are very generous...

omfg, I know. I'm taking bio and it's not even hard, but ugh, school is practically over and I still have to worry about it since the questions are so freakin random, and the TIME LIMIT kills me for some reason; graduation party the NIGHT before sat IIs, testing center an HOUR away, and we have to be there by 7:45 am right? so i have to leave my house at 6:30ish.

Pretty much the LAST time to enjoy life with the seniors, people won't be leaving till like 6 am and I'm going to have to leave around 11 or 12 or something or my parents will kill me./

3 boo's for collegeboard, but I guess it could be way way worse, right? Better to look at the bright side I suppose . . =) strained smile

For serious! I have to get up at around 6. TIS NOT FUN! :'(

Also, I hate the prep books.

ONE MORE WEEK OF Torture. ew.

Guys I hafta tell you, compared to the real SAT, the SAT IIs are a breeze. I left 13 blank on the World History (I literally counted before I passed in the answer sheet) and still got a 760. If you know the topic these tests really aren't that bad.

It is if your school doens't teach to the test.

i did absolutely horrendous on all 3 of my SAT II's and still got into some good schools. dont worry/dont even bother studying if its causing you insane amounts of stress.

I married Holden Caulfield in a dream. Of course, it was in Canada because male male marriage is illegal. Holden = <3

Also, I stopped studying like an hour ago.

Yeah i gotta agree with Holden. I scored in the upper 700s on all three of my SAT IIs and still got rejected at all my top schools. Not that that's what did it, but I really just don't think they're that big a deal.

Yeah.

What's more of a big deal in the apps process?

I dunno, it depends on the college, look at how high each individual college ranks SAT IIs. I'm thinking grades and SAT Is are the most important, along with a decent essay so you aren't just a bunch of "good numbers".

it's not that bad, is it? I'm taking it next week and I know I'm not going to study for it. You have been studying hard all year so just relax right now and show off your skill on Saturday. Good luck to everyone taking it.

It's like if I saw a hot guy on a college campus. The high numbers (or looks) grab the first attention, but you want to make sure there is still a person, or personality underneath (essay).

touche, sarorah, touche

and knnk, you are an idiot

sarorah-brilliant beyond words.

god, and yes sat IIs. they seem to be there more to help than harm...a la AP test scores...

touche is my word. word stealer ::sticks out tongue::

stupid sourtherners whose post count actually decreases over time

I'm not an idiot! :'(

Practice test taken : 800

*** @ me stressing out over it. This is easy as **** bi0tchez.

Math II- alright

USH- alright

Physics- uh. I didn't learn optics, wave, magnetism, thermal physics, and modern physics. Its gonna be ugly. Oh well Penn and Duke only look at your best two scores.
