<p>If a college says that two subject tests are "recommended," will it hurt much if I don't take them? I might take them this fall, but would that be too late to send to colleges?</p>

<p>If they're recommended it means someone can still submit an application without them but it would be better if someone took them. You can take them in the fall and colleges will see them if you make note of it.</p>
<p>For most colleges the last SAT/SAT II session that they will consider for a regular decision is the December test session. If you are applying EA/ED/Rolling then those tests will need to be taken earlier.</p>
