how many sat iis should i have for an ivy league school? i've already taken three, but i did really bad on one.. should i take another to replace it? thanks!

Depends on which Ivy you're applying for and what College?

Dartmouth, Brown, Penn, Cornell, Yale, and Columbia only require 2, while Princeton and Harvard both require 3. They take your highest ones, so 2 good scores are good enough for all Ivies beside p-ton and harvard.

for some of the school like Yale they will accept the ACT in lieu of the subject tests.

yale actually requres three. im appliyng there. hehe

dude i am sooo right. i am actually 100% sure that my statement is correct

Some schools take the ACT with writing in lieu of SAT + SAT Subject Tests. Two of these include Penn and Yale.

Penn:
"The American College Test with Writing, may be used in lieu of the SAT I and two SAT II: Subject Tests."

Yale:
"Yale requires either the SAT I or the ACT. Students who submit scores for the SAT I are also required to take two of the SAT II Subject Tests."
http://www.yale.edu/admit/faq/applying.html

I say just take three. If they only require two, I'm sure they'll just take your highest scores.

whatever..............I'm still right!
